Overview

INNOTE is an education-consulting platform operated by JC Education, offering 1:1 personalized editing for people preparing for university admissions, study abroad, and employment.

Visitors choose and pay for purpose-built editing services online — document writing, interviews, essays, and more.

We built a new website so its expert-led editing — explicitly not AI-generated — could be purchased and managed online.

On this project, Silmaril handled the entire website build: from UX and frontend to online payments, member purchase history, and the admin panel.

Challenges & Solutions

From Purchase to Editing in One Flow

Situation
An editing service can't stop at a brochure — it must flow from selection to payment, use, and history.
Task
Make it seamless for a visitor to pick a service, pay, and then review their own history.
Action
We designed the catalog → detail → payment → purchase-history flow and integrated online payments (Iamport).
Result
Delivered a purchase flow where visitors buy editing services online and track their usage.

Self-Serve Operations

Situation
As services, orders, and notices grow, the team needed to manage them without a developer.
Task
An operations tool to handle content and orders without code changes.
Action
We designed and built an admin panel for services, orders, and notices.
Result
The team now manages services and orders from the admin, gaining operational autonomy.

A Trustworthy Editing Platform

Situation
The service's strengths — expert 1:1, no AI — had to come across clearly online.
Task
Convey the credibility and expertise of an education consultancy throughout the site.
Action
We structured service strengths, process, and success stories with a restrained, professional design.
Result
More than a checkout site — a platform that conveys the service's expertise and trust.

Impact

  • Completed a direct sales channel where editing services are bought, paid for, and tracked online.
  • The team manages services, orders, and notices from the admin, so operations run without a developer.
  • One team owned the full website build — UX, frontend, payments, members, and admin — for a consistent result.
  • A responsive modern web delivers the same purchase-and-use experience on desktop and mobile.
